They have been numerous social media posts and articles alleging Destiny Etiko’s death. Despite this, no official news of her death has surfaced. According to sources, rumours of her death began to circulate on the internet after she was alleged of been involved in an accident. While she was travelling with Kevin Uvo, a well-known Nollywood film producer, the incident occurred. Both were reportedly returning from Stanley Okoro’s funeral; Okoro was their coworker. However, they did not sustain any serious injuries due to the collision. The actress confirmed this news on her Instagram account, thanking God for saving her life in the dreadful event.

Who is Destiny Etiko?

Destiny Etiko is a veteran Nigerian actress. She was born in Enugu State, Nigeria, on August 12, 1989. 

In 2016, She was honoured with the City People Movie Award for Most Promising Actress (English) at City People Entertainment Awards. Destiny Etiko’s career took off once she was cast in the film Idemili, which garnered her a nomination for the City People Entertainment Awards.

Etiko attended her primary and secondary education in Enugu State. After She moved to Anambra state, she was accepted into the college and went on to earn a degree in Theater Arts. 

she pursued a university degree in Theater Arts at Nnamdi Azikiwe University in Awka. Etiko debuted in the Nigerian film industry in 2011 and described the experience as challenging because she had to balance her acting profession with her academic obligations.
