Two persons reportedly arrested during EndSARS Memorial this morning

At least two persons have been arrested by the Nigeria Police Force this morning during the #EndSARS memorial that is currently being observed all over the country today to remember the ugly incident that occurred on the 20th of October 2020.

According to BBC, one of the persons arrested claimed to be a journalist but probably didn’t have an ID card with him while the other individual could be seen in a white outfit with a placard that depicted his intentions to start a protest. The duo was forced into the Black Maria van.

Recall that the police had warned Nigerians against staging a street in commemoration of the ugly incident. In a bid to make sure this doesn’t happen, lots of police fans and able-bodied officers are currently stationed at Lekki Tollgate
